cosmetic skincare+ making – When you think of beauty tips, do you think of the sweet stuff? For starters, I love to have a yummy chocolate facial. Then there are the sweet things like vanilla steams, spice wraps and sugar scrubs.
All that stuff tends to be expensive. I paid 150 dollars at my last spa visit, and I didn’t even get the full massage. Thankfully, there are many different ways to give yourself some of the same sweet treatments at home. What is the essence of these wonderful facials? Of course it’s honey.
Below are just a few uses for honey that will leave you feeling delicious and beautiful:
* Your Honey Do Beauty Tip #1: Bubble baths - If you want really soft and smooth skin, just add a cup of honey to your bubble bath. You can use a loofah to exfoliate your skin while your in the tub and it will give you nice, glowing skin. Add 4 tablespoons of whole milk powder and feel just like Cleopatra, who used milk baths to keep her skin clear. Of course, any time you bathe in any edible product, be sure to rinse down extra well afterwards.
* Beauty Tips With Honey #2: Use a few different layers. - Make an egg white masque by whipping egg whites, a tablespoon of honey and a little flour or unsweetened cocoa together to make a thick paste. Your pores need to be open first by putting a hot wash cloth on your face for 3 minutes. Then smooth the mask on. Let it sit for 10 minutes. Your skin will be fresh and youthful after your remove the mask with warm water.
* Honey Beauty Tip #3: You can make your own skin toner. - Place a half cup of honey, 2 cups of buttermilk and a half cup of rosewater in an air-tight container. If you have a Tupperware with a screw-on lid, it will work perfect. Shake it up until its blended together well. Its going to be a cloudy color and really runny. Dab a cotton ball in it and apply for tight, toned skin.
When making these kinds of treatments, use the best honey. You can purchase a nice size jar of organic honey for less than 20 dollars. Use this jar of honey for these beauty tips for a good while.
