KOBIDO Day to Day Facial Regiment Guidelines
A proper facial regimen is a lot like well-executed hair care. Hair care of course revolves around the use of shampoo and conditioner; the shampoo to clean the hair and remove excess oil and dirt, and conditioner to restore moisture and nutrients lost in the process of cleaning. Skin care should be treated in the same way. It is important to both cleanse and properly treat the face, and each step relies upon the others. Steps one and two in our process are for purification and steps three through five are to restore the vitamins, minerals, and moisture lost in day to day life and the purification process itself.
Step One: Cleanse
Cleansing is the most important step of the proper daily facial regiment, as it is the foundation upon which the remaining steps are built on. The effects of the entire facial care process will be marginalized, without proper cleansing.
Toner
Kobido Toners should be used before you cleanse as well as in between most procedures in the daily facial regimen. Toners, such as red and Kobido RePLENISH, are alcohol-free and astringents like ReMEDI are alcohol-based and should be used for bacterial control
Exfoliate
Exfoliation is the process of gently removing dead skin cells from the body in order to bring vibrant, living cells to the surface. We suggest using two to three times a week in place of normal cleansing for that day, as our exfoliating products are Kobido cleansing scrubs.
Step Two: Purifying Mask
Kobido Masks are intended as a method of providing deep purification and additional mineral replacement. As such it is recommended they be applied three times a week to daily, depending on individual needs.
Step Three: Treatment Mask
KOBIDO offers a variety of different treatment masks for different purposes, such as acne control, boosting collagen, reducing wrinkles, age spot reduction, anti-aging, and a variety other skin conditions. You will need to choose the proper mask to suit your needs.
Step Four: Moisturize
After cleansing your skin, apply toner to the entire face to re-hydrate the skin. KOBIDO prepares many different moisturizers, oil-free hydrating serums, as well as liquid moisturizer (squalene-based) to accommodate all skin types and individual needs. Please check our moisturizer page for general guidelines or consult your esthetician to determine which of our moisturizers is most suited to your needs.
Step Five: Eye Care
KOBIDO has three different eye care products. We highly suggest using ReSTORE, if you begin developing bags under your eyes and need reduced collagen. We would suggest the use of ReCOVER, if you have age spots or fine lines around the eye. If the eye area is very sensitive, we suggest Kobido RePAIR.
