The burnt areas are treated quickly with a green tea compress. Brew green tea leaves for 20 minutes in boiling water, strain the leaves and retain liquid. Leave to cool and soak or dab the affected areas with the cold tea, several times a day. Baking soda will take the sting and itch out of your tan. Mix 2 tablespoons baking powder into bathwater and soak. Aloe Vera plant will cool and sooth the burnt areas in a wink of an eye. Generously apply the gel or juice to the affected area.
